Hongkong Days

Hongkong pictures from my phone's camera the Blackberry Orlando.

Layering in Hongkong

Last shooting day in Hongkong. It was really a cold windy day and to be honest I had really low expectation to Hongkong's weather and really didn't expect it coming. Part of the reason why you'll see me wearing the same jacket and scarf on this trip, is because I'm departed with only one scarf, one coat and one beanie which had helped to warm me up during the cold days in Hongkong! Seriously, 14° celsius does not define Spring for me. And yes, that's what a long 29yrs of living in the tropical country will do to you.
So friends, I must remind you if you ever come to Hongkong on mid-March and not really climatize well with cold weather, you should bring yourself at least hats/beanie, a light jacket/coat, and scarves! Because Hongkong could be pretty darn cold during the winter. Oh, and one more thing, you'll also need comfortable shoes to walk. Especially if you're about to do a long walk like I did until the word "IT'S A WRAP!" comes up.

What I was wearing:
Gifted ruffled top
H&M neon tangerine skirt & scarf
Zara stocking
Repetto flat shoes

Shek O Bed

A self-portrait on the Shek O Suite bed.
Thank you to Hendro Revco (from Revlon Indonesia) for the make-up.

1881 Heritage

Please excuse my late posting. Hongkong had been awfully one busy trip for us all. Read: Sleep, shoots, shop, sleep, shoots, shop. It was tiring but also sooo much fun! And it's sooo much alive compared to the last time I was there (NYE 2008). I know, it's been too long!
Couldn't bear to skip the photos and stories from the trip, so let me share you some.
Second day from our trip last week was spent at the 1881 Heritage, Tsim Sha Tsui area. The hotel, Hullett House, where we have a room booked there, was one of the oldest building in Hongkong dating back in 1881. Formerly used as The Marine Police Headquarters, this colonial white-stucco building is situated right in the centre of the harbourfront.
I believe this is one-of-a-kind boutique hotel that you'll ever find in Asia. There's only 10 (individually-designed) suites available in Hullett House Hotel, which they will give you a total intimate privacy guest experience with each of the suites got it's own terrace and modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, rain-head showers and surround sound (yes, it goes right through your balcony!) in the old feeling of Hongkong heritage.

HONG KONG

We arrived in Hong Kong last night, and had few hours to stroll around the apartment's neighborhood 'til midnight. Coming from the hot Jakarta, I haven't really climatize by the cold weather in Hong Kong. So I decided to put on something warm. How awesomely coincidence is it that we have Isabel Marant's shop and many other cool shops just down the corner of our apartment?! And one amazing cool thing about Hong Kong is that they have (some) of the shops open up until late. Like, 12 in the midnight late!

I can feel that this will be one of those amazing trip. Now off to work!
Hope you all have a lovely day.
